When Antonio Carlos Almeida Campelo, judge of the federal court Altamira had suspended the environmental rights pre-licence for the power plant Belo Monte on 14h of April 2010 and ceased the auction planned for the 20th of April, environmental- and human rights organisations were already celebrating a partial victory. Now the Brazilian president Lula da Silva has, not even 48 hours later, enforced the auction of building - commissions by court ruling. On 16th of April 2010 the federal national court in Brasilia has overturned the ruling by the federal court Altamira in the federal state of Pará.
