EXCELLENT NEWS FROM JEJU ISLAND - SOUTH KOREA:

All 3 remaining detainees and all defendants were set free.

Mr. Kim Jong-Hwan (Uncle Jong) - Age 57 | Villager, Peace Activist and Cook for the peace-camp
Mr. Kim Dong-Won - Age 25 | Photographer/videographer and Peace Activist (Both KIMs only assisted the mayor during the brutal arrest.)

The reason for the birth of Law 21, year 2001 on Special Autonomy for native West Papuans came as a result of political bargaining between the Indonesian and West Papuan people. This resulting Law was very valuable because it came out of 40 years of demanding by the West Papuans for self-determination. The basic reasons for self-determination (the opportunity for Papuans to choose independence) are as follows:

Once again, we learn that the activities of Missionaries are not what they are supposed to be.

Biak Missionaries Destroy the Natural Environment
On Biak Island in West Papua - -the most christianised (because of ease of access) of West Papua, the missionaries are not content with watering down to almost nothing the traditional culture and beliefs of the Papuans that live in Biak, they want to destroy the natural habitat too in doing so, making sure the peoples will have no choice but to become economic slaves, growing cash crops for cheap exports.
