Dear friends, I just got news from Puncak Jaya by phone call that they said, many of refugee have no more food, no medical suply, so I am siting and thinking how they are now, because I have seen them directlly how the condition there. Please tell some people who can help them to bring them out from this situation. places I went to visited refugee are too far from their villages so this is very hard for me to think how can I help them. This is an e-mail received today, Monday, from inside West Papua. We cannot give you his/her name because it would put his life in danger if the Indonesian military knew he/she is passing on information to the outside world.
We are still desperately worried about the condition of the THOUSANDS OF PAPUAN REFUGEES who are still without food, shelter and medical supplies in the Puncak Jaya region of the central highlands.

If at all possible, please could you urgently contact your Member of Parliament /Government NOW calling for the international community to take immediate steps to allow humanitarian aid through to the refugees?
If you are in the media .... PLEASE pass on these Papuan cries for help to the outside world as soon as you can. Maybe then the Indonesian Government will withdraw its military forces from the area ... and no more Papuan children and elders will have to die.
