Dear Madam Chair,

Papua indigenous people have been worse condition for years due to our objection of being Indonesian people. Years passing by and we remain to claim our position as Melanesian which lead to anger by Indonesia government and its military.

The issue of the Act of Free Choice in 1969 had become the basic theme of protests of Papua indigenous people,leading in number of cases such as Laskar Jihad and militia forces.
Accordance to the Yale University Reported in 2004 about 100,000 Papua indigenous people were lost of human rights abuses and reported from Australia University and International Crises groups also. Genocide systematic process continued in West Papua till now.

Prof Pieter Drooglever in his book published by the Nations Library in the United Kingdom of Nederlands on November 15, 2005 about conducted of the Act of Fee Choice in 1969 in West Papua did not accordance with International practices.

Indonesia government divided West Papua be 3 provinces while Papua indigenous people not so enough to division and move imigration and Transmingration coming from Indonesia (Java) to West Papua.

Activistes pro independnece of West Papua become target of Indonesian Military, Militia and Laskar Jihad included us.

The very dangerous symtom we also have experienced at present is that there are Papua indigenous people dying of AIDS every week.

Illegal logging,Illegal fishing, Illegal mining etc still run in West Papua till now and back up by Military .

Papua indigenous people cry for freedom and need protection from United Nations and International Community.

Mr, Chairman,brother and Sister, We hope you really support for these our matters.

Recommendations

1.The Second International Decade of the Worls’s Indigenous people have to eradicate colonilizim over the world include West Papua
2.We Request the PFII to recommend to the General Assembly for review the Act of Free of Choice in 1969 in West papua.
3.We Request the PFII to recommend to the General Assembly a peace keeping Force to West Papua .
4.We Request the PFII to send special rapporteur to investigate indigenous genocide in West Papua.
