The Kalahari Peoples Fund (KPF) is a non-profit organization formed for the benefit of the San (Bushmen, Basarwa) and other rural peoples of the Kalahari desert region of southern Africa. It is composed of anthropologists, development workers, and other interested individuals who have worked closely with these peoples and are familiar with their contemporary situations.

The Forest Peoples Programme is an NGO, established in 1990 by the World Rainforest Movement specifically to work with forest peoples in their struggle to survive the global forest crisis.

Legacy of Colonialism: pertaining to the history of colonialism and its ongoing affects including the continued marginalization of Indigenous peoples and the preservation of their heritage, the biased practices of the IMF, criminal and monopolizing acts of transnational corporations, non-mutually beneficial international trade practices, self-seeking international military coersion, first world state sponsored terrorism, & globalization.
